Mount Dietz is a mountain of 2250  m in the Queen Maud Mountains of the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It is located north of the confluence of the Souchez and Bartlett Glaciers , where it marks the southern end of the Hays Mountains .

The area was mapped by surveying work by the United States Geological Survey and using aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1967 after Lieutenant Donald Lee Dietz, a Navy pilot for taking aerial photographs during the operation Deep Freeze 1964-1965.
