Mount Eubanks is a 1,210 m high and isolated mountain in Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . As a prominent landmark, it rises near the head of the Riley Glacier . Only 600 m of its total height are above the ice masses surrounding it.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1976 after Lieutenant Commander Paul D. Eubanks (1932-2017) of the United States Navy , commander of an LC-130 Hercules on flights between McMurdo Station and the Lassiter Coast from 1969 to 1970, who was also involved in supply flights to other stations in Antarctica .
