Mount Galla is a 2520  m high mountain in the Marie-Byrd-Land with a snow cap . It rises from the icy Usas Escarpment 50 km east of Mount Petras .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and using aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1959 and 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1962 after Edward John Galla (1930-2008) of the United States Navy, doctor and Head of the support team at Byrd Station in 1959.
