Mount Gerlache is a prominent 980 m high mountain on the Scott coast of East Antarctica, Victoria Land . It rises on the northeast flank of the Larsen Glacier between the Widowmaker Pass and the Backstairs Passage Glacier .
Participants in the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904), led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott, discovered and named him. It is named after the Belgian polar explorer Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery (1866–1934).
