Mount Giovinetto is a 4090 m high mountain in the form of a supporting pillar in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 3 km north of Mount Ostenso in the main ridge of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
It was mapped by the so-called Marie Byrd Land Traverse Party , a team mainly to explore the Marie Byrd Land between 1957 and 1958. They named the mountain after the Canadian glaciologist Mario Giovinetto (* 1933), who worked at the Byrd station in 1957 was active.
