Mount Hirman is a 1070 m high and striking mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises at the southern end of the Behrendt Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Joseph W. Hirman, scientific director of the United States Antarctic Research Program on the Eights Station in 1965.
