Mount Lanzerotti is a 1550 m high nunatak in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It is the northernmost of the Sky-Hi-Nunatakker .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1987 after the US physicist Louis John Lanzerotti (* 1938) from Bell Laboratories , a senior atmospheric researcher at the Siple Station and the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station from 1970, who also worked in numerous Antarctic research bodies were represented.
