Mount Lightbody is a 3046 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Tasman Ridge of the Royal Society Range, it rises 2.5 km northeast of Mount Hooker with the Ball Glacier in the north and the Hooker Glacier in the south.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2009 after John W. "Jack" Lightbody, National Science Foundation program director for the IceCube between 2001 and 2009.
