Mount McCann is an approximately 700 m high nunatak on the English coast of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the west-central part of the Snow-Nunatakker it rises between the Espenschied-Nunatak and Mount Thornton .
Scientists from the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) discovered and photographed him. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1968 after Captain Kenneth Allan McCann (1913-1999), commander of the USNS Eltanin icebreaker during the Antarctic voyages between 1965 and 1966.
