Mount Priam is a 1980 m high, snow-covered mountain with a flattened peak on Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is the central massif of the Trojan Range and rises 6 km north of Mount Français .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey surveyed the mountain in 1955. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1957 after Priam , a figure from the Iliad by the ancient Greek poet and author Homer .
