Mount Seitz

Mount Seitz is a 2130  m high mountain in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is one of a number of mountain peaks between the Mirabito Range and the Homerun Range . It rises 6 km southeast of Mount Armagost and 15 km northwest of Boss Peak .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own surveys and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from the years between 1960 and 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Thomas E. Seitz, Senior Construction Mechanic of the United States Navy, in 1967 the McMurdo station was active.
