Mount Send is a 1180 m high mountain in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the southern Wilson Hills, it rises 16 km east of Basilica Peak on the northern flank of the Pryor Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Raymond Francis Send (1927-2011), geophysicist in the United States Antarctic Research Program at McMurdo Station from 1967 to 1968.
