Mount Strong is an approximately 1200 m high mountain with numerous ridges in the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 8 km east of the Eland Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it in 1974. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1976 after Frank E. Strong, a biologist on the United States Antarctic Research Program at Palmer Station from 1971 to 1972.
