Mount Strybing is a 3200 m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 5 km southeast of Mount Craddock in the southern part of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and using aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1957 and 1959. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1961 after Henry Strybing (1921-1998) of the United States Marine Corps , navigator in the aerial reconnaissance flights with a Douglas DC-3 in this region between 1957 and 1958.
