Mount Talmadge is a 2395 m high mountain in Victoria Land, East Antarctica . It rises in the Royal Society Range 5 km south of the Fisher Bastion from the cliffs on the western flank of the Koettlitz Firnfeld .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1994 after John B. Talmadge, who was head of coordination and information on polar research in the National Science Foundation's polar program from 1984 to 1995 .
