Mount Tolley is a 1029 m high mountain in Marie Byrd Land in western Antarctica . In the Allegheny Mountains of the Ford Ranges, it rises 3 km south of Mount Swartley .
It was discovered during overflights by participants in the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941). Name giver is William P. Tolley (1900-1996), President of Allegheny College in Meadville , Pennsylvania , alma mater of the US American Antarctic explorer Paul Siple , the head of the West Base on this research trip.
