Mount Tomlinson is a mountain in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises 3 km south of Mount Marsland in the northeast part of the Scott Mountains .
The mountain was mapped using aerial photographs taken in 1956 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named it after the British sailor Raymond Christian Tomlinson (1901-1947), crew member of the RRS Discovery on the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (1929-1931).
