At 3479 m, Mount Torbert is the highest mountain in the Tordrillo Mountains in Alaska .
The mountain is northeast of Lake Clark National Park and about 100 km west of Anchorage . It is covered in snow all year round and nourishes several glaciers , three of which flow into Beluga Lake at the foot of the eastern flank. Although Mount Torbert is in close proximity to volcanoes like Mount Spurr , it is not volcanic itself.
