Mount Wood is an approximately 1,731  m high and isolated nunatak in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 21 km northeast of Mount Kring and north of the David Glacier .

The cartographer D. B. McC Rainey from the Department of Lands and Survey in New Zealand named him. Namesake are Arthur F. Wood (1903–1978) and his wife Marie (1904–1994), foster parents of Staff Sergeant Arthur Lyall Kring (1926–1972) of the United States Marine Corps , who served as a navigator on flights with the VX-6 squadron United States Navy served New Zealand field research teams in the area between 1962 and 1963.
