The municipality Entre Ríos is a district in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

The municipality Entre Ríos is one of six municipalities in the province of Carrasco . It is bordered to the northwest by the municipality of Puerto Villarroel , to the west by the municipality of Pojo , and to the south and east by the department of Santa Cruz .

The central place of the municipality is Entre Ríos with 7,347 inhabitants ( 2012 census ) in the eastern part of the district.

The municipality Entre Ríos is located in the Bolivian lowlands on the northeastern foothills of the Cordillera Oriental . The climate is a tropical, humid climate with a distinct rainy season .
