Murtas Churzilawa
Murtas Kalistratowitsch Churzilawa ( Georgian : მურთაზ ხურცილავა, Russian : Муртаз Калистратович Хурцилава * 5. January 1943 in Bandsa , district martvili , Mingrelia , USSR) is a former football player from the Soviet Union .
The Georgian played for Dinamo Tbilisi and in the national team of the USSR , where he became vice European champion and bronze medalist at the Olympic Games in 1972 and fourth in the 1966 World Cup . In 1972 he was elected to the All-Star-Team of the European Championship in 1972. As one of only two Georgians, he was the captain of the Soviet national football team. In 2003 he was by the UEFA for Golden player declares (the best player of the past 50 years) of Georgia.
