The UEFA Jubilee 52 Golden Players are a list published by UEFA of the most important players in each member association.
background
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the association in 2004, the 52 member associations were asked the year before to name the most outstanding player in their country in the past 50 years. The individual players are known as golden players . On November 29, 2003, the Continental Association published the list for the first time. However, on the profile pages of Yevgeny Jarowenko and George Best created in 2004, UEFA shows them as golden players in their home countries, although Sergey Kvochkin and Pat Jennings are named on the 2003 list .
