Mustafa Achmatowicz

Mustafa Achmatowicz († 1794 ) was a Tatar lieutenant in the Lithuanian army.

Life

Mustafa Murza Achmatowicz came from a noble family ( Szlachta ).

In the Seven Years' War Achmatowicz fought in Saxony against Prussia . He then fought in the regiment of Józef Bielak on the side of the Russian Empire in the War of the Confederation of Bar . From 1769 he was a major .

In 1785 he was appointed to the War Commission of Both Nations (in Polish Komisja Wojskowa Obojga Narodów ).

In 1792 he took part in the Russo-Polish War as a lieutenant colonel . During the Kościuszko Uprising in 1794, he led the battle of Korytnica and Maciejowice as a lieutenant in the IV regiment of the vanguard . He was seriously wounded and died from these injuries.
