Mustapha B. Wadda

Alhaji Mustapha Wadda Baboucarr (* 1. October 1930 in Bathurst , † 31 January 2010 in Banjul ) was a Gambian politician and former speaker of the National Assembly ( English Speaker of the National Assembly ).

Life

Wadda from 1997 until his retirement in 2001 Speaker of the National Assembly and also the head of the public administration ( English Secretary General and Head of the Civil Service ). He belonged to the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC) party, of which he was temporarily general secretary.

Wadda died at the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital at the age of 79 .
