The Mutaro Kunda Forest Park (other spelling Mutarokunda Forest Park ) is a forest area in the West African state of Gambia .

topography

The 809 hectare forest area is located in the Lower River Region in the Kiang Central district and, like the other forest parks in Gambia, was established on January 1, 1954. The approximately 4000 meters long and approximately 2500 meters wide area is located on the southeast side of the South Bank Road , Gambia's most important highway, about 34 kilometers east of the city of Soma , between the towns of Dumbutu and Wurokang .

Close by, across the street from South Bank Road , is Kiang West National Park, established in 1987 .
