Muzaffer Çizer (* 1907 in Istanbul ; † December 18, 1961 there ) was a Turkish football player , referee and official. Through his many years of work for Fenerbahçe Istanbul and as his own generation, he is very strongly associated with this club and is referred to by club and fan pages as one of the most important personalities in the club's history. After his playing career, he worked as a football referee.

Çizer went through the junior division of Fenerbahçe Istanbul and was included in the professional squad during the 1928/29 season. He came in this season on August 10, 1928 in the benefit game of Gazi Büstü against arch rivals Galatasaray Istanbul to use and made his professional debut for Fenerbahçe. From then on he belonged to the regular squad of his club. With this he played in the same season in the İstanbul Ligi (German Istanbul League ). Since there was no national professional league in Turkey at that time, regional leagues existed instead in metropolitan areas such as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir , of which İstanbul Ligi (also called İstanbul Futbol Ligi) was considered the most prestigious. This season, Çizer came to eight more league appearances and missed with his team the Istanbul championship with a four-point deficit on arch-rivals Galatasaray Istanbul.

Subsequently, Çizer was an integral part of the team until the mid-1930s. After he and his team won the Istanbul championship in the 1929/30 and 1932/33 seasons , he was also part of the Fenerbahçe team that won three consecutive Istanbul championships in the 1934/35 , 1935/36 and 1936/37 seasons could. Fenerbahçe drew level with arch-rivals Galatasaray, who became the first club to reach three consecutive championships. He was also part of the Fenerbahçe team that emerged victorious in the 1936/37 season from Milli Küme , a type of championship tournament in which the teams from the three cities of Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir participated. Çizer formed one of the most successful offensive teams in the league at Fenerbahçe with strikers Zeki Rıza Sporel , Fikret Arıcan and Alâaddin Baydar .

After these successful three seasons, Çizer stayed at Fenerbahçe for another season, but could not win another title with his team this season. Following this 1937/38 season, he left Fenerbahçe and moved to MKE Ankaragücü in the Turkish capital . With this club he played from then on in the Ankara Ligi .

National team

Çizer began his national team career in 1931 with a commitment for the Turkish national team in a friendly against the Bulgarian national team . By November 1932 he completed another international match.

With the Turkish selection Çizer took part in the Balkan Cup in 1931 and became silver medalist with this.
