My Little Pony - The Star of Wishes (Original title: My Little Pony: Twinkle Wish Adventure ) is an animated horse film special, which is based on the third generation of the series of characters My Little Pony produced by Hasbro . The film was released on DVD in German-speaking countries.

The annual wish-you-what-night is coming up in Ponyville and whoever wins the tree decoration competition can place the wish star Twinkle Wish on the top of the evergreen tree. With the help of her friends, Cheerilee wins. The mayor Flitter Flutter gives her the box with the star, but warns her that it must never be opened before the festival. Cheerilee's younger sister Scootaloo cannot resist and opens the box, whereupon Twinkle Wish gets out of her and is taken away by a female dragon. The ponies follow her with a hot air balloon to Willy-Nelly-Berg to take the star back from her. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle stay behind to cover up the star's disappearance. After an arduous journey, the ponies arrive in the dragon's cave and learn that the dragon is called Whimsey Weatherbe and has taken the star to make friends. Despite all requests, she does not want to give Twinkle Wish back, because she fears that she will not get any more visitors otherwise. Sadly, the ponies return to Ponyville to tell the mayor the truth. Suddenly Whimsey comes flying in and remorsefully returns the wishing star. The make a wish can begin.
