My Name Is Luca is the debut album of the singer Luca Hänni , who won the ninth season of the talent show Deutschland sucht den Superstar in 2012 .
Emergence
After Hänni took first place in Deutschland sucht den Superstar , he received a recording contract with Universal Music and thus the opportunity to release an album produced by Dieter Bohlen . This was recorded in Bohlen's recording studio in Hamburg and was given the title My Name Is Luca . The album was released on May 18, 2012 in Germany , Switzerland and Austria . In addition to the regular version, it was also released as a deluxe edition (includes a remix of I Believe and five videos.), And as a special version on iTunes (includes the song Das Beste as a bonus track ).
Five of the twelve titles included are cover versions that Hänni sang for Deutschland sucht den Superstar .
My Name Is Luca is the third album by a winner from Deutschland sucht den Superstar , which did not take first place in the German album charts.
