Mychajlo Bubnij CSsR ( Ukrainian Михайло Бубній ; born September 16, 1970 in Chliwtschany , Lviv Oblast , Ukrainian SSR ) is Archbishop Exarch of Odessa .
Life
Mykhaylo Bubnij joined the Congregation of the Redemptorists in and put on 7 April 1996, the perpetual profession from. He received the sacrament of ordination by Lubomyr Husar on August 19, 1997 .
The Synod of Bishops of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Bishops elected him Archbishop Exarch of Odessa. Pope Francis approved his election as Archbishop Exarch of Odessa on February 13, 2014 and appointed him Titular Bishop of Thubursicum-Bure . He was ordained episcopate on April 7th of the same year by the Grand Archbishop of Kiev-Halych , Svyatoslaw Shevchuk . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Lemberg , Ihor Vosnjak CSsR , and the Archbishop of Ivano-Frankivsk , Volodymyr Viytyshyn .
