Mychajlo Syson ( Ukrainian Михайло Сизон , English transcription Mykhaylo Syzon ; born March 16, 1972 ) is a former Ukrainian biathlete .

Mychajlo Syson began biathlon in 1984 and was active for Dinamo Kiev . The sports teacher made his international debut with the men as part of the 1996 World Biathlon Championships in Ruhpolding , where he was 73rd in the sprint. Sporadic appearances in the biathlon world cup followed up to 2000 , his best result was a 44th place in a pursuit race in Oberhof in 2000 and a seventh place in the relay race in the same place with Vyacheslav Derkatsch , Andrij Derysemlja and Ruslan Lyssenko . At the 1998 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Osrblie , he won the silver medal with Juri Dimitrenko , Oleksandr Bilanenko and Vyacheslav Derkatsch in the relay race behind the Russian and in front of the Polish representation. The last international championship was the 2000 European Biathlon Championships in Kościelisko . Syson just missed the top ten in eleventh place in the individual, in the sprint he was 28th, in the pursuit race 35th and with Oleg Babyeh , Alexander Chwostenko and Oleksandr Pochynok tenth in the relay race.
