Mykilske ( Ukrainian Микільське ; Russian Никольское Nikolskoje ) is a village in the northeast of the Ukrainian Kirovohrad Oblast with about 1100 inhabitants (2004).
Mykilske lies on the bank of the 55 km long Zybulnyk ( Цибульник ) shortly before its confluence with the Dnepr , which is dammed up to the Kremenchuk reservoir , and on the T-12-11 territorial road . The village is located 85 km northeast of the Oblast capital Kropywnyzkyj and 25 km southwest of the district center Svitlovodsk .
The village, founded in 1760, is the administrative center of the district council of the same name within the Switlovodsk district , which also includes the villages of Buhruwatka ( Бугруватка ⊙ ) with about 10 inhabitants and Zolotariwka ( Золотарівка ⊙ ) with about 600 inhabitants.
