Myleene Angela Klass (born April 6, 1978 in Gorleston-on-Sea , Norfolk ) is a British actress , television and radio presenter , pianist , singer , reality TV participant and model . She became known as a member of the former British pop group Hear'Say .

life and career

Myleene Klass is the daughter of an English - Austrian father and a Filipino mother. She has a sister and a brother. On her father's side, she comes from a family of musicians . At an early age she began to play the piano and violin , later the harp , and took singing lessons. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London .

In 2001, Klass took part in the talent show Popstars and thereby became a member of the pop group Hear'Say . Until their breakup in 2002, the band brought one album and two singles to first place on the British charts . After that, Klass continued as a solo artist and released three albums from 2003 to 2008, mainly in the field of classical music . Her first album Moving On was the only one to hit the charts. An award with a silver record followed.

In 2006, Klass took part in the sixth season of the reality television show I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! part and reached second place. The following year, she was co-host of BBC One telecast The One Show . In 2009 she was hired to co-host the US edition of I'm a Celebrity… . Further engagements as a presenter took Klass in areas such as ITV telecast Popstar to Opera Star true (2010-2011), and since 2015 at the grill broadcast BBQ Champ on the same channel.
