Nándor Bosák

Nándor Bosák (born December 28, 1939 in Taksonyíalva, Hungary ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and emeritus bishop of Debrecen-Nyíregyháza .

Life

Nándor Bosák was ordained a priest on June 13, 1963 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him on May 31, 1993 as the first bishop of the newly founded Diocese of Debrecen-Nyíregyháza . The Archbishop of Esztergom and Primate of Hungary, Cardinal László Paskai , donated him episcopal ordination on June 15, 1993 ; Co- consecrators were István Seregély , Archbishop of Eger and József Tempfli , Bishop of Oradea Mare .

On September 21, 2015, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
