N-iX is a Ukrainian IT company with headquarters in Lviv and partner companies in Sweden, USA and Great Britain. It works with over 1000 software developers in the telecommunications, finance, media, energy, aviation, education and healthcare sectors. From 2016 to 2019, N-iX was awarded in Inc. 5000 Europe and Software 500. The company has received further awards, including being named in the “Global Outsourcing 100” in 2017 and 2018.

history

N-iX was founded in 2002 in Lviv by Andrij Pawliw, Dmytro Kosarew and Werner Richard Kreiner as the startup NovelliX (combination of “ Novell ” and “ Linux ”). One of the first known partner companies was Novell, which purchased a product from NovelliX in 2003.

In 2005 the cooperation between N-iX and StreamServe began.

In 2010 StreamServe was sold to the largest software developer in Canada , OpenText.

2012 was launched by N-iX Game & VR Studio. This is a department that deals with game development, game design, virtual and augmented reality. Wargaming , Paradox Development Studio , MindArk, Silicon Studio, Adverty, SportsVTS are already customers of the N-iX Game & VR Studio.

Since 2015 N-iX has been an authorized partner of this company ( OpenText Partner).

Initially, N-iX was a software development company with its headquarters in Lviv. N-iX later opened offices in Malmö (2009), Kiev (2015) and Florida (2016) as well as a development center in Krakow (2016).

N-iX provides services in different areas. The largest customers include Lebara , Gogo Inflight Internet , Orbus Software , for example .  

Corporate social responsibility

As a co-founder of Lviv IT Cluster, the company participates in community development, organizes hackathons and other events. N-iX is a co-organizer and partner of IT Arena, the largest technology conference in Eastern Europe.

In 2018, N-iX organized the Empowering Women Hackathon together with an Estonian organization Garage 48.

In 2018, N-iX received an award from IAOP for its achievements in this area.
