NWA and the Posse is the second released sound carrier by the US hip-hop group NWA . The album is a compilation of various rappers from Compton , in addition to the NWA, the Fila Fresh Crew and Rappinstine are represented on the album.

The cover of the album is identical to the Panic Zone previously published by the NWA and charted in Billboard magazine at number 39 on the local top R&B / Hip-Hop album hit list.

Initially released on the Macola label, Ruthless Records released it a second time that same year . The album was certified gold by the RIAA .

Allmusic

Allmusic's Alex Henderson gave the album three out of five possible ratings and wrote that the album included songs from the gangsta rap genre as well as fun songs like Fat Girl and Drink It Up . Overall, the album would not come close to Straight Outta Compton , but it is still a historically important CD.
