The N12 is a trunk road in Burkina Faso , which branches off from the N1 in Pâ and continues to the border with the Ivory Coast .
There are only a few smaller towns along the way. The highway ends at the border, then it becomes the A1 and continues to Abidjan . The N12 is one of the few roads in the area that has been paved. The reason for this is that most of the exports to the Ivory Coast are handled via the N12.
