The N16 is a trunk road in Burkina Faso that connects Koupéla with the border with Togo .
The trunk road branches off the N4 in Koupéla and runs south towards Tenkodogo and then further east, where it ends at the border with Togo. In Togo, the connecting line runs to Lomé . The N16 has a large border crossing because it is one of the important export routes for Burkina Faso. For this reason, it is also paved.
