The N5 is a trunk road in Burkina Faso that connects the capital Ouagadougou with Paga (border with Ghana ). The N5 is 160 kilometers long.
A short section of the motorway is used as an AutoRoute. The N5 is two-lane and extends into southern Savannah. The terrain is fairly flat and dry and the entire section is paved. On the Ghanaian side, the road continues without a number.
The trunk road is traditionally of greater importance in export. Although the trunk road was already paved, it was renovated in 2012.
