The N29 or RN29 is a trunk road ( French route national , "national road") in Niger , which starts in Tahoua and ends in Tsernaoua . It is 116 kilometers long.

The N29 begins in the town of Tahoua at the exit of the N25 , from where it runs south. The village of Dabnou is reached via the village of Badaguichiri , where the secondary route N29 B branches off, which joins the N1 after 32 kilometers at the village of Malbaza . The main route runs from Dabnou via the village of Guidan Ider to the village of Tsernaoua, where it also ends on the N1.

The N29 is part of the 650-kilometer Route de l'Uranium (" Uranium Road"), the export route for the products of uranium mining in Niger . It was fortified between 1976 and 1980. Contracts with uranium mining companies take care of their maintenance. The Route de l'Uranium continues to the north via the N25 to the mining town of Arlit . To the south it runs via the N1 to Dosso and from there via the N7 to the state border with Benin . The destination of the uranium transports is the port of Cotonou .
