NA11

NA11 was a fixed target experiment on the H6 beam of the Super Proton Synchrotron at CERN . The aim was to measure different cross- sections in hadronic interactions between particles with non-zero charm quantum numbers . The experiment was proposed on February 3, 1978 and completed in December 1982. It was the first experiment in which semiconductor detectors manufactured using the planar process were used.
