NA3

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NA3 was an experiment at the Super Proton Synchrotron of CERN which was conducted from 1975 to 1994. In addition to research into the production of high-energy muons in pion - proton collisions, direct photon production was researched in the same collisions and the search for exotic particles was carried out. The spokesman for the collaboration was Aldo Michelini . The exact structure of the experiment was changed again and again during the data acquisition.
