Nogometni Klub Korotan Prevalje was a Slovenian football club from Prevalje in the Koroška region .
history
The club was founded in 1933 and played its first season in the first division in 1994/95 . All in all, they were first class for nine years.
The 1999/2000 season was the club's best season. For the first time the team was represented in the European competition. In the Intertoto Cup they lost against FC Basel 0-0 and 6-0. In the same year the team finished fourth, and reached the cup final against NK Olimpija Ljubljana .
In the 2002/03 season, the club was only deducted seven points when payments of players' salaries were missing, and after the club failed to play for the second time in a league game, Korotan was excluded from play during the season after 11 league games.
In 2003 a successor club was founded under the name DNŠ Prevalje , which is not viewed as the legal successor by the Slovenian Football Association.
