NM50 is a pop-punk band from Düsseldorf . The band around Carsten Wischemann (vocals, guitar) used to perform under the name No Mayers 50 , but changed it because it was often misspelled during performances. In addition to frontman Carsten, the band currently consists of Mitch (drums), Rob (bass) and Philipp (guitar). Phil replaced Nico at the beginning of 2007, who left the band for personal reasons. Before that, Rob joined the band in the spring of 2006, replacing Heiko on bass.

The band has released 4 albums so far. The two albums Summercamp and Hopeless Romatic can still be bought at the band's concerts. The current album Honestly ..? was released as the band's first album on the Italian label Rude Records and is available in stores everywhere. In addition to Germany, it has also been released in England and Japan (there by IN'n'OUT Records ). The debut album First Take is no longer available, but in 2006 it was briefly available for free on the band's homepage.

With the song Girlfriend NM50 were allowed to appear on MTV Rockzone in 2004 as the "hottest newcomer". The video was also available for selection on VIVA PLUS in the " Get The Clip " program . NM50 were also able to share the stage with Die Happy , the Donots and No Use for a Name , among others .
