The NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building ( Japanese NTT ド コ モ 代 々 木 ビ ル , Enu Tī Tī Dokomo Yoyogi Biru ) is a skyscraper in the Sendagaya district in the Shibuya district of the Japanese capital Tokyo . At 240 meters, it is the fourth tallest building in Tokyo.

function

The NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building is owned by the wireless operator NTT DOCOMO . Despite the name, the building is not the headquarters of the company, whose headquarters are on the top floors of the Sannō Park Tower. The building houses some offices, but is mainly used to house technical equipment, such as switchgear, for the company's cellular service.

To mark the tenth anniversary of NTT DOCOMO, a clock with a diameter of 15 meters was installed and put into operation in November 2002.

Partly solar energy is used to power the building. A waste separation system installed in the offices helps to reduce waste and increase the recycling rate. The wastewater is recycled for reuse and the rainwater is reused for the building's toilets.

Trivia

In many of Makoto Shinkai's films , the NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building was clearly shown in long shots, such as 5 centimeters per second , The Garden of Words , Your Name and Weathering With You .
