Naab-Vils-Weg

The Naab-Vils-Weg is a 49 km long hiking trail in northern Bavaria , which is maintained by the Upper Palatinate Forest Association . It connects the regional centers of the northern Upper Palatinate Amberg and Weiden . It was created when the joint East Bavarian Technical University of Amberg-Weiden , the former Amberg-Weiden University of Applied Sciences, was founded. The path is marked by a green cross on a white background.

The starting or end point of the hiking trail in Amberg is the brick gate integrated into the city wall, in Weiden the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
