Nadeschda Dubovitskaja ( Russian Наде́жда Дубовицкая , English transcription Nadezhda Dubovitskaya ; born March 12, 1998 ) is a Kazakh high jumper .

Athletic career

Nadezhda Dubowizkaja gained her first international experience at the Junior Asian Championships 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City , where she won the silver medal behind the Chinese Chai Yanbo with 1.74 m . Shortly afterwards, she took part in the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , Poland , but was eliminated in qualifying there. In 2017 she took part in the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar , where she finished sixth with 1.75 m. In 2018 she took part in the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran and won the bronze medal there with 1.80 m. At the end of August she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and won the bronze medal there with 1.84 m behind the two Uzbek women Svetlana Radzivil and Nadiya Dusanova .

In 2019 she won the silver medal behind Dusanova at the Asian Athletics Championships in Doha with a new personal best of 1.88 m. In July, she finished sixth at the Summer Universiade in Naples with 1.80 m.

In 2019 Dubovitskaya became the Kazakh champion in the high jump outdoors and in 2018 and 2019 in the hall. She is a student teacher for sports at the Academic Innovation University in Schymkent .
