Nadia Toffa
Nadia Toffa (born June 10, 1979 in Brescia , Italy ; † August 13, 2019 there ) was an Italian journalist and television presenter who was best known in 2017 through the satirical news program Le Iene with a series of reports on the environmental impact of suspected nuclear tests at the University of Rome has been.
Life
First work experience
After attending the Liceo classico Arnaldo and studying literature at the University of Florence , Toffa appeared for the first time on a local television station in Emilia-Romagna . From 2005 to 2009 she worked for a local broadcaster in her hometown of Brescia.
Le Iene
In 2009, at the age of 30, Toffa became a reporter for the television program Le Iene and produced numerous reports. Cancer and death
On December 2, 2017, Toffa suffered a breakdown during a report in Trieste , which resulted in her temporary retirement from work. On February 11, 2018, she announced that her breakdown was caused by a brain tumor . On August 13, 2019, Nadia Toffa died of complications from cancer in her hometown of Brescia, after being hospitalized in early July after her health deteriorated.
