Nadine Härdter (born March 29, 1981 in Kandel ) is a former German handball player .

Career

Härdter began playing handball in her Palatinate home at TSV Kandel. In 1997 she moved across the Rhine to TSG Ketsch , where she played for three years. The trained vehicle painter then joined BVB Dortmund . From the 2006/07 season she played for the Thuringian HC . After four seasons in Thuringia, she moved to league rivals VfL Sindelfingen . After Sindelfingen withdrew his team in 2011, they did not initially find a new club and announced their retirement almost a year later.

She was one of the best German handball players in the left wing position . After her first international match against Croatia in 1999, it took five years for her to become a regular on the national team. At the World Cup in December 2005, Hardter was sixth with the German national handball team , and third at the World Cup in December 2007. She was part of the German national team for the 2009 Women's Handball World Championship in China , where they finished 7th.
