Nadja Sieger (born May 22, 1968 in Zurich ) is a Swiss comedian and cabaret artist . She is known from her role Nadeschkin in yellow dungarees and wild Rasta curls in the comedian duo Ursus & Nadeschkin , which she has formed with Urs Wehrli since 1987. The duo is one of the most renowned stage couples in Switzerland.

Life

Nadja Sieger was born in Zurich. There she attended grammar school in Wiedikon , which she graduated with a type B Matura in 1988 . At the same time she took theater lessons. Since 1987 she has performed together with Urs Wehrli as the cabaret duo Ursus & Nadeschkin , initially as a street artist . In 1989 she was on tour with Karl's kühner Gassenschau .

Nadja Sieger traveled a lot: Between 1991 and 2016 she lived for a few months in London, New York, Melbourne, Sydney and Berlin. In 2003 she was traveling for half a year.

In 2004 she played the role of Flora in the television film Strangers in Paradise . In 2005/2006 she was co-screenwriter of the film Tabsi and in 2010 co-producer of the film Dancing forbidden . Since 2005 she has appeared as a jazz singer in the Swingtime Dance Arkestra formations .

Nadja Sieger writes as a columnist for the Berner Zeitung . She is a director and author in the independent theater scene, so in October 2014 she worked as a producer of the comedians Starbugs Comedy and was the director of their 2014/2015 tour. With the duo Ursus & Nadeschkin she received many prizes.

Nadja Sieger has been doing Lindy Hop dance privately since 2002 . She lives on the outskirts of the city of Zurich and has a son (* 2010).
