Naked Truth is the sixth studio album by German singer Jeanette Biedermann , which was released on April 7, 2006 by Universal Records .
background
The album Naked Truth was produced in Berlin, Mexico and Los Angeles, many of the songs were written and produced by Biedermann and her boyfriend at the time, Jörg Weißelberg . Naked Truth consists mainly of rock-pop songs, but they are much heavier than previous albums. The “Deluxe Edition” also includes three more songs and a bonus DVD. By 2007 the album had sold over 45,000 copies.
The second single, Bad Girls Club , reached number 20 in the German charts . In Austria the single reached number 67, in Switzerland number 35 and in the German airplay charts number 84.
After Run with Me and Bad Girls Club , Endless Love was released as the third single from the album on March 17, 2006 in two versions. Endless Love reached number 22 in Germany, number 51 in Austria, the top 80 in Switzerland and number ten in the German download charts.
With Heat of the Summer, the fourth and final single from Naked Truth was released on August 4, 2006. The song was re-recorded and was placed at number 50 in the German charts. The video for the single was shot in Mallorca. To promote the song, Biedermann u. a. in the "ZDF Fernsehgarten" and in the RTL "Chart Show".
The Naked Truth Tour took Jeanette Biedermann through Germany, Austria and Switzerland in spring 2006. The accompanying DVD Naked Truth - Live at the Bad Girls Club reached number two on the DVD charts.
In 2004 Jeanette Biedermann signed an advertising contract with Electronic Arts to promote the game The Sims . The Run With Me video therefore includes many elements of the game. Run With Me took third place on the Media Control Charts and received an echo in the “Best National Video” category.
